About

Eray Pişkin is a software developer and entrepreneur interested in business and in how people behave. He is less interested in how systems get built than in why people go along with them.

He co-founded FOL Studios with a partner, building mobile games and apps. Under Pişkin Yazılım he designed, built and sold CRM, point-of-sale, web and operations systems for businesses. He worked on Polytech, PiskinAlert and several financial technology projects; Polytech and PiskinAlert each reached thousands of users. He sold one of them. He turned down a $40,000 offer for Polytech and shut the project down himself.

In recent years he has worked on quantitative trading, algorithmic execution, strategy discovery and autonomous trading systems.

Alongside technology he reads philosophy, psychology, persuasion, marketing and business. He lives in İzmir.
